   The Moon That Played Hide and Seek

The moon peeked out behind the tree,

And giggled as it shined on me.

It played a game of hide and seek,

Then vanished with a playful squeak!

I searched the sky both low and high,

I waved hello—no moon in sight!

Then suddenly behind a cloud,

It popped back out and laughed aloud!

“Oh Moon,” I said, “you’re full of fun!”

It winked at me, then raced the sun.

And as the stars began to peek,

The moon said, “Let’s play more next week!”
